Mr. Bobak Ferdowsi

Bobak Ferdowsi is a systems engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He has worked on the Cassini–Huygens, Europa Clipper, and Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity missions.

Mr. Ferdowsi graduated the American School in Japan in 1997, and went to college at the University of Washington in Seattle and grad school at MIT for degrees in aerospace engineering. After graduating, he joined JPL and worked on the Mars Science Laboaraory mission. As of 2018, Ferdowsi is Fault Protection lead on the NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) mission, a joint project between NASA and the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) aiming to launch a dual-frequency synthetic aperture radar on an Earth observation satellite.
